Click Boarding September 2016 - March 2019

Created user flows, site maps, and user interface designs for Click Boarding software. Designed mobile first and responsive experiences for HR team members and their employees. Conducted client interviews to gain insight for new features. Created design standards to meet accessibility guidelines set by W3C and WCAG 2.0. Defined consistent design patterns and user flows. Created and optimized SVG library of iconography and illustrations. Designed layouts and micro interactions to support multiple languages and meet localization requirements. Collaborated with Chief Product Officer, Product Manager, and Architect to understand requirements and use cases. Worked closely with development teams in an agile environment.

Best Buy 2013 - 2016

Created site maps, wireframes, and user interface designs for associate facing tools. Organized content and created data visualization to give business teams visibility to the data that runs bestbuy.com. Simplified complicated user tasks through the design of forms and user flows. Facilitated creation of style guide, micro interactions, and seamless user experience across tool suite. Collaborated with product owners to gather business requirements and use cases. Worked with architects and development team to drive innovative solutions within platform constraints and technical limitations.

OWNER & MAKER OF BEAUTIFUL THINGS

The Citrine Canary 2012 - PRESENT

Opened a boutique selling bohemian jewelry and other handmade gifts. Each piece is made with love and given a unique intention. The materials used to create each piece are just as important as the intention: high quality semi precious stones, hand painted silk, cruelty-free leather, glass, copper, brass, and silver are used to make each unique piece of jewelry.

College of Visual Arts Spring Semester 2013

Taught Principles of Usability, a junior-level class at CVA. The class focused on teaching students how to analyze and create interface design, information architecture, and user scenarios that give users a meaningful experience.

Ackmann & Dickenson 2010 - 2012

Led branding and website projects. Developed brand interviews to gain understanding of the client's business. Worked directly with clients to: prioritize audiences, define core attributes, and refine mission & goals. Created naming and branding process. Gathered necessary information to understand the client's business goals leading to the creation of insightful brands, informed wireframes, and website designs for small businesses.

GRAPHIC & INTERACTIVE DESIGNER

Azul 7 2007 - 2009

Collaborated with team on branding, interactive, packaging and print projects to create design with beauty and brains. Developed brand identities with supportive style guides and assets. Designed website from concept to completion, working on content scrapes, site maps, information architecture, and design.

SOFT-LINES PACKAGING TEAM INTERN

Target 2006

Worked closely with team and collaborated with senior level management to produce branding, packaging, and print projects. Created tactile representations of brands such as Xhilaration, Mossimo, Cherokee and Merona by designing a variety of signage and packaging. Art directed photo-shoots and collaborated with copywriter to create gift cards sold in 100+ Target stores nationwide.
